Starting on January 1st, 2011 there are repeated reports and rumors about strange animal-people running around and comitting small felonies and being jerks.
In the northern part of the City there has been a football gear-wearing boar swordsman slicing cars and stealing beer kegs, which he later drinks in the evenings on the lawn of a local frat house he has taken over.
In the southern part of the City reports of a spider-swordsman have popped up all over the place. He appears to travel from rooftop to rooftop and take pictures of people during embarrassing moments before swinging away.
To the east, several rumors have cropped up about a mysterious "shadow man" that follows and taunts its victims. More reliable sources say that the "shadow man" isn't really a shadow at all, but rather a small hand puppet that seems to be able to move on its own. And has swords.
To the west, the talk of the town is an outrageously muscled man wearing a panda mask that has declared himself to be the one and only Pandaman. No one argues with him, but he seems very keen on righting wrongs, though he more often than not seems to go overboard and has beat up many people over simple misunderstandings.
And then, scattered in all areas of the City, there have been multiple reports of an ostrich-woman running around batting her eyelashes at people and beating people up for seemingly no reason.
