[...That guy? Looks pretty cool. The skeletons are neat, but anyone can do skeletons. She's more impressed by that totally sweet armor (even if it's muffled by a coat). And, on the upside of wearing a pseudo-hero-disguise, she doesn't place him as that kid she's working on stalking. Disguise successful! This run-in is pure happenstance (for once).

From atop a nearby one-story building, perched at the edge of the roof-] Heya, spud. Need any more hands?

[Nico starts in surprise, glancing up the street, then down the street... then behind himself for good measure, even though it sounded like it came from somewhere to his front. He's sure he knows that voice. He's also pretty sure that there's no one else on the face of the planet that calls people "spud."] Wha..

[Finally, he thinks to look up at the building's rooftop, pulling off his helmet because it's sorta hard to tilt your head back with one on.] ... No. [Aaand now he's just staring.] Why are you up there?

[...oh. well. Now she recognizes him. Oops. There's a second or two of surprised chagrin before she recovers and pulls up the cheeky little half a smirk again. She can totally play it cool.]

Good view. Nice atmosphere. Great vantage for surprise snowball fights. What're you down there for?

[Nico wrinkles his nose, glancing pointedly around again.] Everyone is down here.

[Take that, ninja girl! He's totally not just jealous that he has no idea how to run around on rooftops or anything. So there!]

You gotta be shivin', spud. [it's easy to forget, for a second, that this guy is a friend of Crane's, and she crosses her arms with a grin.] Only half my friends take the rooftop highway.

[Ninja girl has ninja pals, that is so not fair. Nico crosses his arms, before rethinking and reaching up to rub his neck. It's hard to talk to a someone that's a story taller than you are.] Then your friends are weird, too.

Dunno about that one. If you're in the minority, doesn't that make you weird?

[She'll... scoot over to the edge of the roof, but she's not hopping down just yet. Can't be too careful, even if he looks and sounds pretty harmless.]

No. It makes me sane. [Mostly! 8Db Meanwhile, Nico is dropping his helmet so he can scrub at his eyes with his knuckles. Shoveling will wear you out, son.] Wait, half isn't a majority, anyway.

[...okay that's actually kind of cute, and she's having a lot of trouble here imagining that a kid like this could bring about too terrible a fate, so she'll just be leaping down from the roof and landing lightly on the ground fifteen feet below.]

... That's cheating. [He rolls his eyes, even though he's secretly grateful that she's at ground level now.] Whatever. [A pause.] What are you even doing out here this late? [:| yes, he thinks he has a monopoly on the nighttime just 'cause it goes well with his outfit.]

[man, what a brat. It totally makes her grin. Totally casually-] You know. Leaping buildings, scaling spires, beating up criminals. The usual.

[Nico squints at her, suspicious. It's not often that people put up with his brattiness and keep smiling. Maybe it's her superpower.] Criminals hang out on rooftops too, now?

The rooftop's just the best way to get a good shot at 'em. [smirk!] You oughta try it.
