[ After a good night's sleep and a lot of frozen pizza -- most emphatically oven-warmed before eating -- Spidey is feeling fully recovered from his ordeal at the hotel party. In fact, he's feeling downright chipper, despite the weather and his complete failure to find suitable Christmas presents. All he wants to do is swing around and hum Christmas tunes ... hey, is that Luke and Danny's place? He cuts his webline and lands on the wall, tapping at a likely-looking window. ]

[ Luke is fussing with the groceries when he hears the tap. He's not even mad that Spider-Man is getting his fingers on the glass. He's smiling brightly and opening the window to let Peter in. ]

[ Spidey falters a moment at that tone of voice. Luke's giggling; there's something just a bit off, even though he can't quite figure why. And yet ... it is Christmas, isn't it? If Peter can feel all aglow for his fellow man after a weekend like the one he just had, why can't Luke? ]

Hey, man. Just thinking that it's a beautiful Christmas Eve Eve, thought I'd stop by and see how it's hanging with you. Though I guess that's my job, isn't it? [ Now it's his turn to giggle. In a manly way, natch. ]
