WHO: Mr.Freeze and YOU! WHERE: Somewhere in the city WHEN: Today, after sunset. WARNINGS: None...maybe SUMMARY: Freeze is through waiting for the snow to come to him. FORMAT: Para, or whatever
Lily had been walking through the streets, trying to get her bearings in this new city. She saw a giant beam of blue light, and, without hesitation, headed toward the source.
She rounded a corner, coming across a figure- it appeared to be a man, but she was arriving from the other side of the street and couldn't see properly- and a strange machine that was emitting the light.
There was a moment or two of silence before it started to snow, and Lily looked up at the sky in amazement as the snow picked up.
"Wow," she whispered, a smile spreading across her face.
Lily nodded in understanding. That was the sad thing about life. Sometimes even the most beautiful things faded and disappeared, leaving the world in perceived darkness. Clearly that's what had happened to this man.

"Who are you?"
The modulated voice is brusque, but not precisely hostile.

"I'm Lily," she said. "Are you the one who made this happen?" Her voice was very clearly impressed.

He looks upwards again, tapping the cold gun against his leg.
"The cold is pure, uncompromising. The snow is pure."

Lily smiled at the beautiful sight, controlling her urge to frolic.

"So many long-gone memories. It was the only weather that brought me joy. I remember, Nora and I would..."
He trails off, his look hardening.
"You do not wish to know. Nor should I tell you."
Reply
"You don't have to tell me anything," she said, meaning it. She was totally content just watching the snow fall.

He looks away, past her.
"The beauty reminds me of another kind. The kind long lost."
