It had only taken days to forge the documents and plant the evidence necessary to make his credentials every bit as genuine as a native's. After that, it had only been a matter of turning in his resume and allowing Angelica to take things from there. He didn't have long to wait before the call came -- an invitation to meet with Norman Osborn.
Smiling to himself as he pulled up outside the soon-to-be-open facility, Slade took a moment to take it in before stepping out of the vehicle. He'd taken great pains to alter his appearance. The hair, the false eye and colored contacts, glasses, even his complexion and the shape of his face -- he'd done enough to where any resemblance between Dr. Henry Black and Slade Wilson were negligible at best. He'd learned to alter the sound of his voice years ago as well, and the faux British accent he'd developed would serve their purposes well.
Straightening his tie, Slade shut the door of his car and locked it. Punctual and well-pressed, Slade headed for the entrance, ready to meet with his new "employer".
