Friiiiidaaaay late night

James is fed up of waiting around like this, dealing with Selina's weird behaviour while struggling to visit, so it's only fair that he takes it upon himself to visit her.

After he realises she's not at home and in bed where she should be, he takes his search to the city. It's not hard to locate her once he starts looking and eventually James is perched up high on the top edge of an apartment block as he watches, shaking his head slowly.

"Headache still bothering you, is it?"

Selina crouches on the opposite room, half-buried in the fold of her cloak. The hood is thrown back and her eyes are a bit wild.

"James..." There's a bit of a whine in her voice, a bit of a hiss.

He watches her carefully, casually and all too suspiciously.

"Hello, dear. Fancy meeting you here..."

[meowminx]

She doesn't look to be in a joking mood. In fact, she looks rather sad as she studies him.

"You shouldn't have come."

[doubleoohbaby]

"It's nothing contagious, is it?"

James considers the space between them carefully and then back at Selina.

[meowminx]

"I don't know."

She looks down, at the street many stories below, and then back to James. "I don't want to hurt you."

[doubleoohbaby]

"For goodness sake, you're not going to hurt me." Bond would almost be amused if this wasn't Selina.

[meowminx]

"I'm hungry." She doesn't meet his eyes when she says it. She isn't happy with what she'd become. What it is she wanted.

[doubleoohbaby]

He's not quite following. Or rather, he's seen others posting with equal bizarreness and refused to believe it's real. "Then I'll take you out to dinner. We can even got to that diner if you want."

[meowminx]

"That's not what I'm hungry for, James." She sighs and shakes her head. "I don't know how long the raw meat will help."

"Then what are you hungry for?" James knows the answer already, but it's still something he needs to ask.

[meowminx]

She's slow to answer, because it's still hard to admit.

"Blood."

[doubleoohbaby]

He's doing his best not to roll his eyes. "Then we'll go to a butchers tomorrow and grab some blood. Would you stop with the dramatics?"

[meowminx]

Her cloak billows dramatically around her. "I'm cursed," she whispers, voice barely carrying across the rooftops. "I don't know if I can control myself around people anymore."

[doubleoohbaby]

What... is this even... "Selina, dear, I trust you to hold back."

[meowminx]

She brightens a little bit at that. "You do?"

Maybe his trust could help her to trust herself.

Ever so slowly, she floats across the gap. It's just phasing -- something she could do anytime in the City. But she rarely uses her powers like this, and it's rather eerie.
