WHO: Tutucast, a vampire cop, OPEN
WHERE: Auditorium of the City Academy of Arts
WHEN: Sunday evening, 6pm on
WARNINGS: Oh God. Um? Vampires? Not much, I suppose. Boggarts? I have no idea. It's open, so SURPRISES.
SUMMARY: The little party for cast/parents/patrons following the academy's production of Dracula: The Musical. Punch, costumes, awkwardly-strung streamers, and teenagers. Oh, and vampires.
FORMAT:First post (this one, durr) is something of an info dump, with a little blurb pretaining to the party. After that, para or whatever suits you best for when you start and respond to stuff. Don't be shy about making your own threads for mingling around, with 'open' in the subject so people know they can approach you. Just making a thread for a couple people is fine, too.
[[OOC note:
This and related vids can give a better idea of what the Hell this looks like. Yes, it is that complex and absurd. Go go Gadget art school with a budget. The production is double cast with singers/actors speaking lines and performing the songs, and dancers to step in and dance interpretations and actions during the songs while the singers... sing. The roles are gender-swapped, which means in this case that there is no crossdressing. The count is a countess, and so on.
Relevant cast (the ones who are not NPCs):
Countess Dracula - Rue
William/Mina - Fakir
Lucas/Lucy - Mytho
Renfield - Duck]]
The vampiric theme of the after party is pretty clear. The cleared out practice room is decked out in back and red streamers, the punch is a disturbing shade of red, and there is an absurd number of rubber bats hanging from the ceiling. Even if the production had an impressive budget, the party is pure high school. Everywhere, there are student performers milling around, some in costumes and some not, all understandably excited. No one is feeling the fatigue just yet, in wake of the final performance's excitement.
