Angelica had been looking forward to Saturday all week long. Between lunch and costume contest planning with Diana, and cake frosting with Felicia, it was bound to be an exciting day. The lunch with Diana had gone just as expected. Angie was slightly intimidated to find that she was such a strong, regal woman, but Diana was gentle and kind, and most of all she was passionate abut helping. Angie was certain they would make a good planning team and raise lots of money for cancer charities.
And then there was Felicia! Angie couldn't wait to see her. It still took some getting used to, since she wasn't the same woman from back home, but she was glad for the friendship, and so glad that they still got along. Angie had gathered up all the ingredients they would need for homemade frosting, arranging them all on the counter as she waited for Felicia to arrive with the store bought pastries. No matter how the desserts turned out, she was certain they would be delicious, and she was really excited to spend time with her friend.
