Meeting the Roommate

Sep 28, 2010 16:58

WHO: Sheldon Jeffery Sands and Wally West
WHERE: Sheldon's House
WHEN: Backdated to the evening of the 23rd (Gah Sorry so late)
WARNINGS: Some angst, swearing and a lot of tequila.
SUMMARY: Sheldon's having a very hard time dealing with the loss of Elisa Maza and now he could lose Jaime Sommers too.
FORMAT: Para or quick. I'm good with either one.

Sheldon had ordered a pizza which is highly unusual for him. He's not entirely fond of rolled dough and messy toppings but in this case he made an exception. He didn't have the energy or the drive to make anything from doing so much already.

He considered quitting his column. He was losing interest in it since he knew that Jaime was fond of his work and the snark that he normally had started to fade from his mind. He was accustomed to killing and having those close to him being killed themselves hurt him in such a way that he closed off. The agent part of him was returning and he hated it.

He remembered losing Amy Trent, his first love, to a rogue gunman that mistook her for an agent when she followed him to a scene many years ago. And just when he was finally over the loss, he loses the closest person he had to a sister here to a brainwashed fellow police officer. It was tearing Sheldon apart from the inside and he couldn't hide it.

Figuring that he needed someone that didn't know about this to his roommate, Wally West, was the next best thing but he couldn't get too close to him either. He feared that if he did, he would lose him too.

The other strange part is that Sheldon hasn't been seen on the network for some time now. He was and is becoming the agent that he was trained to be. His stoic appearance cast a stony facade on his face and the fact that Carmen hasn't been seen a while either worried him.
