It's still a little strange, having his own apartment - really, truly his own place to live, rather than just a small part of some kind of shared housing. Even though he still had neighbors near enough down the hall that he could sense them coming and going, something in the independence of it made it feel very different.
In truth, if Matsuka were to admit the truth to anyone, he felt a little lost.
But he was beginning to settle in a little, and with the workday out of the way he sat at his kitchen table thoughtfully contemplating the chess set Bakura had given him some time back. There were so many thing going on lately...
