WHERE: A generic bowling alley-- one that offers neon bowling!  Oooh!  Aaah!
WHEN: Thursday evening!
WARNINGS: Hideous orange bowling shirts!

[The party is just getting started and people are just now arriving!]

BOWLING LESSONS, YEAH

[Gemma was not about to give up her daily life just because of some lapse in good judgement, character, and sanity. She had more or less recovered herself from the events of the night previous, and was no longer quite so shaken. Mister Murdock had even had a lovely bouquet of flowers waiting on her desk for when she had arrived at work that afternoon. She had been late, but he had seemed happy enough to see her.

In one of her sleeveless summer dresses, Gemma entered the bowling alley, wishing she didn't stand out quite so much. She spotted Angelica after a few moments of hurried searching, and made her way over with something of a smile.]

Good evening, Angelica. Happy birthday.

Gemma! I'm so glad you could make it!

[Angie smiled, cheerfully greeting the elegantly dressed girl with a biiiig hug.]

You found the place okay? I'm so glad! I was worried about you after last night.

[The redhead smoothed the front of her dress, and blushed a bit.]

I am alright, truly. I'd rather not think about what happened, if that's alright. I just--it was not pleasant.

[Angie nodded, leading Gemma over to the lanes she had reserved for the party. There's a shoe rental right nearby, and Angelica has lovely bowling shirts for everyone to wear, as suggested by Jaime.]

Let's get you some shoes, and a bowling shirt...

[Stops for a second before catching up.]

Shoes and a... shirt?

Well, you can't bowl without bowling shoes!

[She laughs softly, handing Gemma one of the shirts, motioning to the shoe rental.]

And you can wear this over your dress. I had them made special for us!

[She holds up the shirt, perplexed. She's only worn something like this when she was pretending to be a boy, okay.]
