[After much panicked shopping, and gift wrapping Seras arrives outside Pete's door. The only thing she could think to get for a house warming was an electric kettle, hopefully the Captain would like it. Putting on her best smile she nervously knocks on the door.]

[If it makes coffee, Pete will like it.]

Officer. C'mon in.

[He hopes that's enough of an invitation. That's a vampire thing, isn't it? That they have to be invited? Or did Joss Whedon make that up?]

[It can make very strong, harsh, cowboy coffee if that's his kind of thing.]

[She holds out the gift to him.]
