[Aaron was doing less people watching, and more watching the remains of his drink. Thank goodness for dark bars, the glasses are off again and sitting next to him. The search for The Major has resulted in a fruitless week, and he finds venting his frustrations at the bottom of the glass more effective than anything else right now.]

[ Elisa spots her subordinate looking fairly morose. Poor guy had even taken off his glasses. ]

Find any life secrets in the bottom of that glass there, Grey?

[He smiles wryly into said glass before glancing over at her.]

None yet, but you'll have a report on your desk tomorrow morning if I do.

You sure you won't want to skip the report for the boss-lady and just go right to the self-help books? You could be on Oprah.

I might be better qualified for a history channel.

I've spent a week running in circles, and I have nothing to show for it.

Nah, you're missing a dowdy jacket, fuzzy grey hair and thick glasses. You'll get all the women of the world flinging themselves at you with Oprah. I'm telling you, she's the way to go.

[ Her expression sombers a bit. ]

Hey. Don't lose heart. It's frustrating to know that that fat bastard is sitting laughing at us, but we'll win in the end. We did last time.

Might I repeat, that I'm not Tom Cruise.

[He sighs, tapping the glass once to get the attention of the barkeep for a refill.]

It just feels like the Nazis are always there, laughing.

Eh, if you start leaping on furniture professing your love for people, then I'll be worried. It's not like you're unattractive.

[ She rolled her eyes and let her shoulders slump in frustration. ]

Oh, no, I'm sure they're not laughing all the time. They have to make time in their schedules for cackling and steepling their fingers menacingly.

[He does not seem particularly entertained by the description of their 'other activities'.]

I'd feel better if that racist zealot was back behind bars.

All right, if you had to pick just one, because clearly our fate is cruel like that, who would you prefer to see in prison first: Joker or Major?

[He hesitates, before mumbling into his drink as he finishes it.]

The Joker.

I'm not going to contest that one. Personally, I want to put a bullet through that clown's miserable face, but well, I'm supposed to be fair.

[ She frowns over at him. ]

You okay? Honestly?

It's been a long week of looking for nonexistent pieces of history on the black market.

No. I just need to try something else, but I would not appreciate being assigned to a different case. He's not the first Nazi I've dealt with, it's just a matter of time and the right effort before he finds himself back in prison.
