[The Joker has just acquired a brand new rocket launcher and he's looking forward to trying it out. One thing about the City as that there was guaranteed to be someone running around the rooftops. A little scanning of the skyline and he finds the perfect target.]

Ooooohhhhhh, she even tells me how many points she's worth. Hahahahahaha.

[The Joker fired the rocket and right away he could tell it was going to miss. Close, but no cigar. The launcher was a piece of junk. He'd have to find out who had sold it to them and remove an organ.]

[ Shrieking when the wall and ledge ahead of her suddenly exploded was not her proudest moment. Neither was the few seconds of what the slag and leaning in for a closer look.

When she realized the implication of someone shooting first and asking questions later, Ten turned tail and darted off along the ledge the way she'd came. ]

[This time, the Joker snatched up his personal bazooka and fired it at her. Bubblegum bomb is away!]

[ She saw something pink and huge hurtling towards her. It was almost instinctive, the way she threw her arm out like that. Like her hand was going to stop it, or she had anything to throw at it.

Except that there was something, and then there wasn't. Just an explosion and suddenly there were glob of pink... goo everywhere. There was an overly sweet smell about it. Almost as if it were... ]

Gum? [ She peels off the piece on her stomach, more relieved than ever that she has gloves - it feels prechewed. That's a really big mouth. ] Who fights with gum?

[The Joker took a running jump off of his rooftop to bring him closer to the girl, surprisingly lithe and agile for a clown.]

If you want, I can go back and get the rocket launcher if the gum bothers you.

[ Which just adds up to really unsettling. She takes a small step back at this entrance, pulls off more of the gum. Ten recognizes him from that video he put up on the comm, so she decides against telling him to slag off. ]

Tempting, but I'll pass.

[ She's afraid to turn and run from someone who's willing to take potshots at random people several stories above the ground, but has no idea of how to handle this situation. ]

In fact, I was just passing through. How about we both go back to what we were doing?

[ She's clearly unnerved. Any generation of the gang getting killed off was not something that was getting handed down in the family history. She'd checked the comms for any sign of her family having been here and hadn't found anything. Then again, maybe they hadn't bothered to use the Network. ]

[ She has no idea what he's talking about. He's probably making the whole thing up as a sick joke. The Joker did go down in the history books as not playing with a full deck, after all. ]

[ She really wishes that someone else were here. Even Jack. She'd feel better about leaving if numbers were on her side or a lead to follow. Was he after something, or just bored? ]

I had a pretty boring night of recon going, until someone decided to raise the stakes with surface-to-air missiles. You should've lead with the bubble gum. That was cute.

[ What was this we nonsense? There was no we. He was not a member of the gang. She narrows her eyes at him. ]

I was checking out a few places. I don't have anything specific in mind.

[The Joker pulled out a small wheel with an arrow and spun it around. It passed by murder, mayhem, bank job, and landed on hop scotch.]

Hooray! I love hop scotch.

[ She was confused by the item and had leaned in a bit for a better look, relieved when it didn't land on murder. ]

You - you seriously want to play hopscotch on a roof. We don't have any chalk or stones.

Would I carry a "thing to do" wheel that has a game of hop scotch on it and not bring chalk or stones?

[The Joker reached in and pulled out several marble looking objects, looking puzzled.]

Now are these the stones or the Joker Venom capsules? I can never remember. Ahh, who the hell cares, won't do anything to me.

[With that, he throws them to the ground and the shatter, green gas coming from them. Now is the time you should probably run.]

[ The only reason she's even stuck around this long was the fear of what else he might have on him. Ten starts to interrupt and ask what Joker Venom is, but, when he throws them and visible gas starts to spew, she decides that whatever it is, she'll take her chances with getting shot. Holding her breath at first, she turns and runs as fast as she can, jumping off when she reaches the edge and just barely catching onto the fire escape of the building across the alley. ]
