[She stands in the open warehouse doorway, measuring up her surroundings and the more obscure interior, then steps briskly in. Lady Shiva is afraid of nothing, mothafuckah--but that does not mean that she is unaware. She knows that this may be a setup, which is a risk she's willing to take. Will it be worth her flying in from Hong Kong? Perhaps not.

If that is the case, however, she is certain that she will be able to express her irritation to the parties responsible.]

[He's waiting for her when she arrives, unwilling to set his robots against her when he's already witnessed her skills firsthand. To do so would be an insult, and Slade is nothing if not a gentleman.

With ease, he detaches himself from the shadows, as much a part of them as the night itself.]

[She is both pleased and irritated; pleased because he won't deign to insult her with anything less than one-on-one combat, and irritated because......... he's implying that he knew where she was what the hayull man. But now she will be able to measure his worth firsthand, instead of relying on her impressions of her own version. She's had a limited amount of time to stretch her muscles after the flight, but Shiva is already going into a stance, the planes of her face betraying nothing but cool and passionless confidence.]

[Since he was tracking her communicator all the while, yes, he does know. That's neither here nor there, though, particularly now, as they're about to engage in combat.

Assuming his own stance, his expression mirrors her own, cool and calculating. He's made a point of studying her technique, the tactics she uses against his robotic creations, so he already knows she's a formidable opponent. The difficult part, however, will lie not so much in fighting her but rather in using the fight to persuade her to join his side.

If you insist. [BAM IT'S TIME FOR LEAH TO BULLSHIT MARTIAL ARTS AGAIN. Shiva, for once, isn't starting out a fight by testing someone out, letting them easily deflect her blows and measuring their reaction time; this is not a spar initiated of her own volition, and there is no reason for her to hold back. From experience, moreover, she estimates there are few people who will be terribly upset if Slade Wilson is incapacitated, and none who pose a real threat to her. This is a serious event, and she will treat it as such.
