She didn't know what she'd been expecting, inviting Thundercracker to stay with her awhile when he got out of prison. She wasn't even sure why she did it. Okay, she knew why she did it. She cared for him, he was in a jam and she had the space, but...
...it was too much like having Korvus around again. And since she had no idea how to deal with that back home, he had no idea how to deal with this here. She was resisting the idea of a relationship so hard and yet the potential for it was right there. More than the casual arrangement they had, an actual relationship was right there if she wanted it. And she missed Jean. A lot more than she wanted to admit. All in all, she felt very unsettled lately.
With a sigh she set aside her coffee cup and pulled out her comm device. She might as well see if anything interesting was happening, she had no real plans and the day was young.
