WHERE: The aforementioned bakery.
WHEN: All day Wednesday.
SUMMARY: Rue is stuck working alone, she is grumpy, it is hot, idk this is an open log.

Rue wasn't sure how she'd ended up working this shift alone. She had been scheduled to work with another girl, but she'd either called in sick, or, more likely, decided not to show up. Now she was stuck here alone until four, when that annoying girl who insisted she and Fakir would make a good couple would come. At least the managers had learned their lesson about sticking her with him.
Luckily, Wednesdays at the bakery were notoriously slow, so Rue was able to spend most of her time eating leftover sweets and reading a book of stories about ballet she'd found at the library. They were depressing, but nice, in a strange way. Bittersweet, like dancing itself.
