SUMMARY: Rue goes to Mytho to apologize for her recent bout of crazy. Fakir is there to glower at her and serve melon.

Rue was still not certain of why exactly Mytho was upset, but she knew one thing: It was her fault. And even if he was fine, even if he still wanted to see her, she felt that her own guilt could not be fixed until she at least told him she knew what she had done was wrong. She was desperate for this, desperate to prove that she could change.
She took the time to get ready, of course, to do her hair and put on at least a little makeup. She knew the effort wouldn't be appreciated, but, in a way, that was why she did it, to prove that she could do something for herself, and not for him. Even if a part of her would always wish that he would just notice, for once, or at least tell her she was pretty.
She was there at the time she claimed she would be, appearing outside the house in a whirl of black feathers, and knocking on the door impatiently.
