It had almost become an art form at this point. The act of seeming fine. It was one she'd near perfected long before she was ever brought to the City. Gotham did that to you.
She kept up the front even when she was home alone. Because she had to convince herself that she was okay. Because everything was okay. Sure, maybe she missed Logan. And Bruce. But that wasn't the same as needing them.
It was only when she was asleep that she couldn't pretend anymore. Luckily, Selina hadn't been remembering her dreams too much as of late.
