WHO: Raven + Household/Anyone who would be there
WHERE: Lake Placid, NY
WHEN: After her conversation with
this fine young gentleman.
WARNINGS: None
SUMMARY: Raven has yet another freak out. She really needs to get a hold of herself, seriously.
FORMAT: Para
Raven didn't drink alcohol. She had only been drunk twice in her entire life - once when Peter Parker had been 'ported out, the other was the night of her bachelorette party. Both times she had swore to never touch alcohol again. She was known to drink a healthy amount of wine now and then, usually with a special dinner, but she rarely touched the bottle.
Once she was secure at home though, with nowhere else she needed to go, nothing she needed to do, she was able to be found in the backyard, staring at the lake. It was raining, there was thunder and lightning on the horizon, but for once she wasn't scared of it. She assumed that if she stayed out in the rain, none of the boys would bother her. A bottle of wine was in her hand, no glass, and it had been opened... although she hadn't had very much yet. She wasn't used to getting plastered on her own, or the steps that led up to it, so... she looked pretty pathetic sitting there like that.
Harry Osborn. Okay, so he wasn't her Harry Osborn... okay, she had to rephrase that in her own head. Putting a claim on any Harry Osborn bothered her, he was her ex for many reasons, after all. This Harry seemed quite different from the one she knew, and he had been there before (Raven had even heard about this one, stories from Peter). This Harry didn't seem... completely out of his mind, for one. Maybe half out of his mind... but that probably came with the family name, right? Norman certainly had a screw or two loose, even in Raven's opinion.
Another sip directly from the bottle.
Watch this ruin everything. Watch Arnold get the wrong impression, or some rumor get started, or... anything that would alter the way her life was currently. She liked her life. She was married, settled down, had a wonderful job, had a loving family, and they were in this beautiful town. Moments like these were what completely ruined everything. Raven hadn't realized the alcohol was starting to cloud her judgment already, causing her to be even more over-dramatic than usual. She was a lightweight, after all.
Azar be damned...
