Hiei appeared as soon as he caught sight of Mytho--honestly, he would never get used to that entrance--and approached, hands in his pockets.

"It's you," he said in English. This was the first time he and Mytho would be able to speak to each other in the same language.

Hiei lost the coat and drew his sword in one smooth motion, and took up his usual starting position.

"Let's go."

That was all the warning Mytho was given for the rush of the sword that Hiei assaulted him with immediately afterward.

Mytho was at least managing to hold his own, though he still wasn't up to Hiei's level of swordplay.

Still, with each attack, Hiei couldn't miss Mytho's change in countenance. It prompted him to attack more aggressively, not wanting a mysterious transformation to end the fight in Mytho's favor. He had seen it happen before, after all.

Hiei spun as well; not in time to avoid a glancing blow from Mytho's blade, but in time to surge toward Mytho's new position with a new slashing attack.

It said something to Mytho's apparent new level of skill that he was scoring hits, however insignificant.

Hiei was prepared to end the fight quickly if Mytho became too injured, but it seemed he had only scratched the boy. It was, at least, an impressive showing compared to the last time they fought.

Hiei met his lunge with a swift parry and another attack of his own, constantly moving to try and throw Mytho off his guard.

Hiei refused to let up, striking harder and with more speed the more Mytho tried to block him. He was determined to get in a decent strike.

Tired of toying with his prey and satisfied enough with his hit, Hiei dodged easily and aimed his next blow at Mytho's wrist, striking it with the flat of his blade and sending Mytho's sword clattering away.

That done, he leveled his own sword at Mytho's throat. Endgame, if the boy knew what was good for him.

Hiei wasn't so weak (at least in his own mind) that he could be moved by a pathetic look alone. He pulled the sword away (perhaps tipping the skin at Mytho's neck a little in the process) and put it back in its sheath.

"You've improved. Small-ly."
