It wasn't a completely seedy bar, because Jessica didn't like getting into fights or being bothered with questions about the color of her underwear. But she didn't have enough money to go to the kind of bar spies frequent in action movies, either. It was just a neighborhood dive, well lit except in a few of the corners, with some game Jess wasn't paying attention to playing in the background. She was only drinking beer, for now, at a table in the middle of the room.
