SUMMARY: Brainy is all like LIGHTNING LAD BUT WAIT NO YOU'RE FROM ANOTHER DIMENSION I CAN ROLL WITH THAT BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR ARM except he's communicating it in lineface :| and as soon as Garth gets back to the house he's going to build him a new arm from scraps. in a cave. ... As soon as he'd finished talking to Lightning Lad's alternate, Livewire (and that would take some getting used to, but it was nothing his 12th level intellect couldn't handle; if anyone else from his timeline were here, they would have had a much harder time adapting to it, he was sure) Brainy had started gathering the parts necessary to build him a replacement arm. The materials available here weren't comparable to those he was used to, but he could still make something better than the standard medical prosthesis, and work on improvements as he gained access to higher quality technology - though it was impossible for anything here to match up to the technology of the 31st century, perhaps in a community of superheroes he could find a way of manufacturing something close.
The facilities he had to work in weren't exactly top-notch either, but they would do. As long as... Livewire... didn't want a comfy chair to sit in while Brainy performed the installation-slash-surgery.
He knew Karate Kid had already offered to go and get Li...vewire from the MAC building, so hopefully, it wouldn't take them long to return.
