Thanks to his conversation with Firestar, who is surprisingly enough involved with Quicksilver despite his apparent involvement in the decimation of mutantkind, Colossus is getting a chance to try and learn first hand how two of the greatest heroes his species had ever known became two of the most reviled traitors to their cause and villains the world over.
It's been so much to take in. Peter is thankful to be here, and yet deeply distressed by what he has learned of his people's future.
That, perhaps, is why, as he waits at this nice, quiet restaurant to meet Pietro Maximoff for lunch, he is staring blankly at his new sketchbook at the empty white page. So much has happened to him since the last time he tried to create anything that it seems like he's lost his touch. Or it could just be all the confusion and darkness and uncertainty that currently surrounds him.
