Ggio wasn't running. He just wasn't going to simply obey Grimmjow's command to stay put. That was what the young fraccion told himself as he restlessly went from resting on a rooftop, to prowling the busy streets. The citizens all around and actively staying out of his way after his earlier display of violence wouldn't be spared from the Sexta's wrath if they happened to be caught in the crossfire, he knew; he just wasn't going to wait around like a sitting duck.

It was more than foolish to mouth off not only to an Espada, but two other beings that had similar immense spiritual power, yet Ggio was far beyond the point of caring. Being disoriented and discontent at his new surroundings just added to the rage that was still burning in him from the last moments he remembered - screaming in indescribable pain as that bitch shinigami's ability tore him apart from the inside out.

There was also a heavy amount of fear radiating from him, to make his aggression even more pronounced. Despite having a loosened collar in this place, without Barragan or Aizen around, this weakened, foreign body and near inability to sense reiatsu had him feeling very much like a cornered predator, and he reacted as such.

Ah, but he could feel spiritual pressure if it was close enough, or prominent enough. Ggio stopped, suddenly, as the hairs on the back on his neck went up, knowing he had been found. Amber eyes immediately went up to the source - the Sexta Espada himself, tracking him down from a rooftop.

Given the time it took to get from his MAC apartment, to Ggio's location, Grimmjow had actually figured that much out for himself. Fraccion-level arrancar thrown into a bizarre city, stripped of a lot of power, and stuck in a human body to boot? Kid was probably wigging out big time.

...Not that Grimmjow was all that capable of sympathy, or anything. But he wasn't stupid; just because a predator is weaker than you generally, doesn't mean they aren't still capable of serious damage when they feel they're cornered.
And...well, in an obscure sort of way, Grimmjow felt like the kid would need to be able to hold his own against one of the worst, in order to be able to survive among what was, by and large, a tolerant group of people.
Survival of the fittest was the one law Grimmjow adhered to strictly.

Affecting a bored pose, he props a foot up on the roof's ledge, leering down at Ggio.

"Ya have a little more sense than I first credited ya for, Vega."

Having been looking sidelong at the older arrancar, Ggio turned fully towards him, chin held up defiantly. Really not caring about all the looks they were getting, though it was adding to his agitation.

"I'm flattered, really."

Tigre Estoque was sheathed at the small of his back, but he made no move towards his zanpakuto yet. Instead, his hands clench into fists, but for all that he appears stubborn, his reiatsu gives him away; quivering, and snapping at intervals.

"Well? Are you gonna keep yapping, or try to make a meal out of me? I don't go down easy, just to let you know."

Rolling his eyes, here.

"Ya that desperate ta get killed?"

And using a couple steps of Sonido to get down to street level. Close up, Grimmjow is much more of a presence; reiatsu as harsh, and raw as the serrated teeth along his mask.

"...Cuz I think you're more nervous than you're tryin' ta let on."

Even though it kind of hurt, bandaged hands get tucked into the slits of his hakama, like pockets, head canting to the side to study the little arrancar.

"But this ain't Hueco Mundo, and you ain't gonna win a fight with me. So, I'll ask ya again; ya wanna die that quick? If ya do, all that happens is ya come back even more human than ya are, now."

Giving Ggio a chance isn't generosity. Not in the least. It's a ploy, both to see if Vega would get smart, and follow the stronger predator, or just be dumb enough, and suicidal enough to give up.
Either way, Grimmjow had no plans to eat the boy. What use was eating weak souls, after all?

Even with that reiatsu now crushing down on him, Ggio was close to still thoughtlessly provoking the other; it was those bandages that stilled his sharp tongue, as he could now get a better look at the injuries the communicator couldn't show.

He straightened his posture, eyes narrowing... and tried to reign in his erratic power. Finally showing some signs of submission - for now.

"No point in being hasty if I'm not going to stay dead."

Because for a minute, there, he would have chosen oblivion over this humiliating existence. But if even an Espada could be wounded this way and not heal a quickly as he should, then maybe it was worth sticking around to see just what power was at work, here, to perhaps give Grimmjow just as big a handicap as Ggio had.

Still irritated, though, he began to move in a slow circle around the other arrancar, never taking his eyes off that powerful figure.

"What's your deal, showing me the same mercy as whomever chewed you up and spat you out?" The scorn is still there, but not as biting, as underneath it he did sound like he was ready to shut up and listen. Almost.

Hard blue eyes follow Ggio's pacing, but Grimmjow isn't bothered by the scrutiny.
The smart ass comments are wearing thin, though. And without warning, the right hand - lesser bandaged then the left - snaps out to grab a handful of Ggio's uniform collar.

"Let's get one thing straight right here, an' now, Fraccion. This ain't mercy, an' it ain't charity. If you're so damn stupid that ya don't get how much shit you're in, then I ain't gonna waste no more time tellin' ya."

Irritation, mingled with aggression turns the suffocating density of his reiatsu into pressure from innumerable needles, and razors. Needles that might fool one into thinking they should start bleeding from a thousand tiny cuts all over their body. Smothering, crushing, even, Grimmjow sneers at the little arrancar before he opens his hand, and lets Ggio stand, or fall on his own.

"Thing is, though, you won't survive fer long without food. An' if ya devolve into some kinda rabid animal, then it's gonna be trouble for all the arrancar stuck in this pit.

Humans here don't even know what a hollow is - not that many did where I came from, or anythin', but right now they don't know they're s'posed ta fear us. Gives me an edge, see? An' I ain't lettin' some little half-cocked shit fuck things up even more for me.

So cut the attitude, and wise up, Vega. "

"Gah-!"

There was really nothing Ggio could do but listen, as he was effectively paralyzed and choked even without Grimmjow's hand around his throat. Finally, it sunk in that he should really listen and shut the hell up, because if he wanted to die so badly, Grimmjow wouldn't hesitate to grant his wish, and no one would be able to stop him. Even if Baraggan or Aizen was around... neither would care if an Espada executed a fraccion who was not only weaker, but had lost.

Ggio was alone, here, and he'd be a fool to keep provoking the other when he was utterly alone, and Grimmjow had put up with him this much already.

Coughing when he was released (not even realizing that smaller hands and nails had risen to try to claw at the arm holding him fast), he raised eyes to Grimmjow - but purposefully avoided eye contact, as his reiatsu shrank even more to surround his smaller form. The equivalent of a cat shrinking to the ground, ears flattened against its skull; submission in the face of fear.

"F-fine."

Finally, the kid was getting a clue.
After a beat, Grimmjow made the conscious effort to reign in his reiatsu, again, and huffed a sigh.

"Get up. I ain't got a use fer grovelin'. There's places you can go, an' those tags ya got get used fer trade.

Other than that, you're on yer own."

But a grin made Grimmjow flash fangs at the little arrancar.

"...Unless ya agree to a couple things, anyway."

"Tags?"

Ggio assumed he meant the metal charms or whatever hanging from a simple chain around his neck; fingers found their way to the tags unconsciously, as Ggio wasn't used to having such jewelry, and the feeling of metal against his skin was unusual.

Standing up a bit straighter, he narrowed his eyes at the Espada - but he really had no choice but to listen to whatever Grimmjow had to say. Now that his initial anxiety had been stamped down, Ggio was curious. This was Grimmjow, after all; he may not be at Baraggan's level, but he was still a force to be reckoned with, and someone who just bothered the fraccion in ways that weren't quite clear.

Maybe it had to do with the fact that this man was a beast in the truest form of the word, and the strongest one for the kind of animal he was. The top cat. Unlike Ggio.

"... What kind of things? Are you offering me something?"

"Ne, I'm tellin' ya how it is."

Top cat, indeed. But a beast? Oh, if only you knew, Ggio. If only you knew.

"It's the same deal as anywhere - Hueco Mundo, the Living world, whatever. You wanna live? Get yer share'a the spoils? Then as of today, you're my Fraccion."

The grin vanishes like it never was.

"One time offer. Yes, or no, Vega."

It had taken a while for Shiro to find Grimmjow and Ggio. Mostly because he was so ridiculously upset, and while his reiatsu tracking and control was much better than his other half's, they still weren't top notch. Finding spiritually powerful people in a city like this wasn't quite like picking out a needle in a haystack, but it was close.

Plus, he had to stop on every other building and make sure Ichigo was still behind him. That slow-ass. Shiro's Sonido made a fairly obvious sound, so when he finally tracked down the powerful spiritual pressures, he stopped on a relatively distant rooftop and jumped from roof to roof instead, trying to keep some semblance of stealth.

Of course, when your reiatsu was as uncontrollable and powerful as the Kurosakis' was, there was really no way to hide.

Shiro crouched down like an animal on the rooftop and snarled, digging his claws into the dust. "There they are.... those bastards..."

For the first time since arriving here, all traces of arrogance vanish from Ggio's demeanor. Wide-eyed and mouth a bit agape, he looked like the lost and bewildered boy he was, rather than the snarling tiger he tried to come across as to hide his own fear. To say he was shocked would be an understatement.

This was... something he only imagined in the wildest, and most secret of dreams. For all that he looked down on the other Espada for simply not being Baraggan, more than once he had wondered what it would be like to serve under someone who carried himself just as proudly, someone who commanded respect without near the amount of fear His Majesty's men held.

Someone he felt was the most primal, and near perfect example of what their kind were... And to live with him, to learn the differences between them, why Grimmjow was able to have an esteemed position while Ggio, who had once been powerful in his own right, was just a shell of what he could have been...

He was excited, surprised, and a little ashamed all at once. Could he really throw away his loyalty that easily? What did that loyalty mean if he was even considering throwing it away? And... what choice did he have, when this was all he knew, and no one else would want a broken arrancar like himself for their own?

The words were out before he realized it, even while all these thoughts raced through his mind.

"All right."

Grimmjow smirked, blue eyes slewing over in the direction of that familiar, split-level reiatsu.

"Alright. Get yer game face on, then, cuz we got company."

Demeanor not changing a whit from the nonchalant, even bored look, Grimmjow called over his shoulder.

"Oi, Casper! Ya all by your lonesome? Leash must be chafin' pretty bad, then."

Ichigo had come straight from the clinic towards the area around the Porter's building, where he assumed Ggio was still hanging around, and where even he could sense Grimmjow's harsh reiatsu.

He didn't carry his sword with him, having just gotten off work, but he wasn't looking for a confrontation this time around. Even a reiatsu oblivious moron like Ichigo could tell that Grimmjow's power was dwarfing the other arrancar's.

His only interest in this visit was to asses the situation, since more hollows could only mean more trouble. Would this newcomer go peacefully like Ulquiorra had, or would he have to beat some sense into it? He didn't really care either way. If the other one wanted to fight, well, as much as he hated it, he did promise the next time to Shiro.

He flash-stepped onto the roof, kneeling on the edge just as Grimmjow shouted up to his hollow.

"Oi! Shut up, idiot!" Great start... Right...

"You shut up! He's right--" And then Ichigo appeared, "...Behind me. See!? And fuck you, I told you, I ain't got no damn leash!"

Shiro just crawled over to the edge of the building and hissed, digging in his nails.

He still wanted to fight Ggio, see if the guy was actually worth the time. But it didn't look like Grimmjow had attacked Ggio at all!

Unlike Ichigo, Shiro DID have his sword. He never went anywhere without it. And he was ready to use it. To test this smarmy little Arrancar bastard.

Ggio had to get over his surprise at the sudden change in position due to the new arrivals, who almost slipped past his perception - this apparently inability to use pesquisa really put him at a disadvantage in this city. All the better to stick by Grimmjow.

He recognized the voices, though, and their reiatsu signatures now that they were close enough. Only one being unarmed wasn't of much comfort, but then again, only the other was a Hollow; why did the shinigami arrive helpless?

But between his lack of power and Grimmjow's injuries, the odds were either even or slightly in the other party's favor. Still, he wouldn't run, especially not when he had to prove that there was a good reason why Grimmjow should want Ggio to serve him. He refused to just be a liability.

The fraccion kept his eyes on the pale twin, right hand easing back to settle on Tigre Estoque's hilt, not caring for the apparent familiarity these three had with each other, and bracing himself for the slightest aggressive movement.
