Vector Prime was perhaps one of the biggest supporters of Transformer life - in whatever form - that they had. On whatever planet, in whatever mode, he found them fascinating and strange but they were still the children of his Creator. And they had proven time and time again that they were no force to be underestimated.

That didn't change the fact that some of their actions could be absolutely moronic, at best.

He would have asked himself what Shockwave would have hoped to gain from capturing an Original, but after a moment's thought, he reasoned something similar as what motivated certain other Cybertronians. A lust for power in their form of choice. A desire to prove oneself. And, of course, this would be one of the questions to ask Shockwave. He'd get an answer, however skewed.

All things considered, he was simply pleased he'd been able to repair the garb by now. Nearly ruined in the fight with Fallen, it took a lot of searching for material, a lot of learning how to work 'simple' machine, but in the end, even if there were ( ... )

For most of the time that Shockwave paces and considers his options -- or lack thereof -- Soundwave in turn waits patiently, leaning up against the wall with his arms crossed. It's easier, fortunately, to detect others around him in his inorganic body. Definitely something he's extremely grateful for. So many improvements to being organic.

The only difference is that it feels unusual to not have Shockwave be similarly inorganic. Rather, his most trusted ally is still human in form. Still, it didn't make him care any less about Shockwave's well-being.

Mostly on his mind is his missing drone. Far more than he's admitted to anyone, he's fearful about that. What information that drone contains can put himself in jeopardy -- or anyone else who ever really has had a connection to him. Shockwave, Ravage, Trowa, Alastair -- if the wrong person had a hold on that data, then they were in immediate peril ( ... )

THAT'S FINE GUYS. SORRY FOR MY SLOW. notsoloyal July 15 2010, 09:14:31 UTC
Soundwave's return to a robotic body was plus on multiple levels. For one he was oddly more attractive than he usually was, making Shockwave want to dote upon him a little more than he would normally allow himself to. Another being that it would be harder to damage him, Shockwave would not have to stress as badly over the Decepticon getting hurt. Wouldn't have to, but that didn't mean he'd follow that small itch of sense. Not today. Not with Vector Prime being the one coming over.

Even if he himself had been returned to an inorganic state it would not settle his thoughts. Not that he was ready to return to that, not until the process had been perfected.

At the touch to his shoulder, Shockwave lets out a mix between a stressed sound and a whine, glancing towards the communications officer. He knows Soundwave is concerned about him, it's easy for him to see it, and he frowns slightly in return. He has no desire to worry the other, he's just at a loss of what to do about this.

"I am fine. You do not need to be so concerned, Soundwave ( ... )

It is...not surprising, all said and told, for Shockwave to not be the one to receive him. Vector returns the stare calmly, wordlessly - there is nothing to say to this one. What could he offer, a reassurance that all is well? Shockwave will not be harmed? He can see patterns in the future, but to speak of it, sure of what will be done...

He is only sure that he will not kill him. Mostly because it would do no good; this is not the dimension the crime was occurred in, and for all he knows now...Trion may have already known of the situation, and its ending. And accepted both. And even if not, unless he signaled for help...

When Shockwave speaks, he turns his head, gazing past Soundwave in the doorway towards his 'target' upon the couch. "Vector Prime," he corrects quietly but firmly, reaffirming the fact that he is not here on as friendly a pretense as he could be.
