"May! May, are you home?" Charlie normally tried to remember to knock on the door when she dropped in on her friends, but she was kind of panicking a bit. Instead she just suddenly showed up in May's little kitchen, dressed in her pajamas, her bright eyes slightly wide. She even still had a glass of water she'd been carrying into her room when she'd talked to Josh.
Josh, who had included her in a 'list of pretty people' and it was weird, dang it. Especially when she was getting used to being surrounded by the other mutant students, who were almost universally gorgeous.
