The ride down to the lobby felt shorter than it would normally take a 20-floor descent, though granted, Vic had spent very few moments in his life in the elevators of large buildings. He decided to chalk it up to Stark's higher-end technology being put to practical use. On the way down, he fished in his pockets, finding $12.27 in loose change - enough for some food now, or something to make later. Hopefully he could get some more money before he went hungry.
"Huh..." He stepped out of the elevator, looking around at the decor of the lobby. It seriously reminded him of the building they had stayed at in New York, before their little time travel fiasco. Opulent, but still down-to-earth. Adjusting his cap, he staked out a good spot along the wall where he would be seen and recognized, and propping himself against the cool marble, waited for one of those outrageous hats to come out from around a corner, along with an enthusiastic cry of recognition.
