WHO: Angelica and Anya WHERE: Some ice cream shop somewhere in the city! WHEN: Wednesday, around 1:30pm SUMMARY: Angie and Anya get ice cream and talk about boys! WARNINGS: None! FORMAT: Quick like rabbits.
[ Anya doesn't have too many friends in the City, despite having been there for almost five months. She'd never been big on having too many friends, never really played nice enough with the kids at school to garner a social life. Back home, her life revolves around her childhood best friend, her Papi, and everything she does in dark alleys with her goggles equipped. For the last two years, she hasn't had time to be a social butterfly---not when she spends her nights as a hunting spider.
So, when a friendly new voice on the Network had offered ice cream, she'd gone against her usual grain and decided to make a friend. Who knew? Maybe it'd pay off to network a little more.
But maybe it'd been a good idea to ask what this Angelica girl looked like before deciding to meet up. She bites the inside of her cheek, scanning the ice cream shop for anyone who looks equally lost ]
[Angie is still looking somewhat lost, eyes flicking from her phone to her plate to the door and back again in sequence until suddenly there's a girl near the door who looks equally unsure of what she's doing in the ice cream shop. Could that be Anya? She looked really young, so it could be her... the only way to tell for sure would be to speak up. Swallowing her fear of looking like a complete moron, Angelica cleared her throat, set her spoon down, and mustered up a friendly smile.]
[ Anya smiles brightly, waving. Angelica is a redhead, vaguely familiar-looking, but she can't place her. She sits down across from her, tucking a hank of her reddish-brown hair behind her ear. ]
[She extends a warm, slightly sticky hand to Anya before retracting it, to wipe the ice cream away with a napkin. Oops! After blushing and wiping it off to her own satisfaction, she offers it again, smiling cheerfully.]
Can I get you some ice cream or something? The milkshakes here are really good, too.
