[He totally gets her by the legs, and she only barely manages to keep from faceplanting by breaking her fall with her hands and upper arms, which get scraped by the sidewalk. The pedestrians are somewhere between confused and spectatorial, which isn't a word but whatever. One of them shouts "Hey, what the hell do ya think you're doing, pal?" Riful barely hears him because she is just so pissed. She is kicking and thrashing and desperately trying to get out of his grip, because she's certain that if he takes her now she will go to jail, and she cannot go back there. She will not go back there.]
