WHO: Rue and OPEN.
WHERE: Around the City.
WHEN: The night of the 12th.
WARNINGS: Sad, angry birdgirl.
SUMMARY: Rue's boyfriend kinda-sorta broke up with her at Prom. Still furious and upset, she takes the long walk home instead of just flying like she knows she can. Isn't that smart?

everything good, I deem too good to be true )
But of course, there was a girl who looked like she was a mess. Anyone else would have just passed her by, and given her a disapproving look. Instead, he just looked at her with a concerned gaze, and slowed to a stop.
"Excuse me," he said, the sounds of a concerned individual coming through, "What's wrong? You look miserable."

"I'm fine," she said, trying to sound like she was. "I'm just tired."

He wasn't going to ask why she didn't smile. He didn't want her to smile. No, he wanted her misery.

He extended his hand, "How about a coffee or hot chocolate? It's on me."
He came off as a genuinely concerned individual.

"I'm sorry," she said. "I really am very tired, I just want to go home."

"If you're sure," he said, but he took out a piece of paper and wrote down a name and a phone number.
"If you need someone to talk to..."
And there was the name Avery Tyler and a phone number...
[ooc: Two things! One, that's not a number that's been seen on the comm. Two....yeah, is it okay if he creeper!stalks you?]

"Ah, thank you," she said politely, slipping it into bag, deciding not to mention that she didn't have a phone.
[ooc: Go for it!]

And he started to walk away. Just enough to get out of her sight...
And once he was sure that he was...a little red cardinal was flying in the sky and following her. Of course it wasn't obvious that he was following her. He flew into the occasional tree that was in the city (there weren't a lot, just like Townsville) and watched where she went.
Shame that there were mostly pigeons around here, but this would do...
