WHO: The Major and Grell Sutcliffe
WHERE: (Former) Nazi Mansion
WHEN: Evening of Monday the 14th
WARNINGS: Massive creepiness and the Major's backstory
SUMMARY: The Major lost most of his memories of World War 2 when he was killed in December. Grell may be able to help him with that.
It was a risk to return to an old place of refuge, but in the Major's analysis inviting Herr Sutcliffe into his new and thus-far secret headquarters was a far greater one. After all, the police had long since finished their examination of his old mansion that he had evacuated months ago, and the place was now abandoned and up for sale. The Major had let himself in without any trouble and made himself comfortable in the living room after sending Sutcliffe the message to meet him here.
It was going to end! At long, long last it was going to end! The torment, the insufferable niggling in the back of his mind, the yawning emptiness in his memory that had needled him day in and day out since the terrible event in December- that hole would at last be filled! The Major understood that Sutcliffe could not restore his memories so much as he could open up a person's past for viewing and examination, but that was far, far better than nothing, compared to the unacceptable situation of not being able to remember the very best and happiest years of all his life.
The prospect was well worth subjecting himself to Grell's unique and rather grating personality. Just as long as Sutcliffe did not attempt to give him any more makeovers...
