She's always on the move, but can be found in-between flights taking a catnap while she refuels and resupplies on either end, or doing regular maintenance checks on the plane itself. Anyone accompanying flights either direction can come to the cockpit for a chat.

However, he gives her a very fake smile back as he approaches. "Sounds delightful!"

She waved him over to a table that had been set up buffet style. "I radioed ahead, asked if they could have something for us to grab fast before we headed back out."
She motioned to the air. "Guthrie coming down any time soon?" She waved.

No matter what, Sam was usually polite to everyone.

"How long before the next take off?"

She nodded, "Yeah, sounds about right. I have enough fuel for another there and back, last systems check was clear."

"Good to hear, Madelyne," Sam spoke up. "Are ya gettin' tired yet?"

"I'll have to refuel next go-round, that will take some time. Might have the mechanics take a look, make sure the engine's still solid. I'll sleep for awhile then. I'll be fine."
She waved toward a crew scurrying by and fixed Warren with a look. "I'm not worried that anything's wrong, it's just a new engine to me, she doesn't speak to me like the planes back home did."

Rather enjoying this free sandwich, he hummed thoughtfully along with Maddie's words. "Yes. We should really be counting our blessings that everything is just smooth and dandy right now. Looks like things are getting a bit more hostile each time we stop in LA, though."
A beat, and then he gave Maddie a look right back. "We'll have to prepared for attacks, too."

After taking a bite of his sandwich and wondered if it'd kill him, he spoke again. "To help you out, yeah. And for protection."
