each game of chess means just one less variation left to be played

May 28, 2010 23:58

WHO: Matsuka (coffeematsuka) and Bakura (shiromadoushi)
WHERE: Matsuka's room in the MAC.
WHEN: Friday afternoon.
WARNINGS: Unapologetic vagueness with regards to actual rules of chess; potentially toxic levels of cute.
SUMMARY: Bakura tries to teach Matsuka to play chess. He has probably got his work cut out for him.
FORMAT: Para or whatever.

"Um, feel free to make yourself at home," Matsuka said as he unlocked his apartment door and opened it up to let Bakura in, reaching quickly for the light switch. "I'll be right back..."

As was his habit, he brought a to-go box back from lunch for Keith, and after letting Bakura into his own apartment, he ducked away to the next door over to drop it off. He was only gone for a few minutes before he returned, looking apologetic. "I'm sorry about that. Would you like some tea or something?"
