Kuwabara had a few things to do before it got late and the stores closed. He needed cat-food, food-food, pens, socks and a few other miscellaneous things. He had a list somewhere in his wallet.
He walked to his MAC apartment, first, putting his school things down and making sure Shizuka had enough water. It would be the pet-store, then, and the grocery, and then he'd have to put everything away before he left again. Most punks, thugs, purse-snatchers and petty criminals didn't come out until sundown, anyway, so he had the time to kill before he'd go out to attempt to make something to live on by this world's standards.
Fighting to make something of a living was something he really couldn't object to. He was getting better at sniffing out trouble here, too. It was a crowded place where something extremely bad was pretty much always happening, so his sixth sense could be easily overpowered. Now, for example, there was that HIVE mess and, be it actual danger or just everyone's emotions, there was kind of a sense of overall doom hanging overhead. Kind of messy.
Still, so far... There wasn't too much to do apart from going about one's daily business.
