During the week I'd been, ah, altered. Into that poncy git "Ace." I, erm. Well, I sort of held Hodge at gunpoint and demanded that he tell me the truth about Layla Miller.
You heard. Believe me, I wasn't in my right mind, or I never would have attempted it. Never.
I got there on the night of...god, Thursday the 11th? I think. I was tracking the Polymorph that had gotten me and Penny. It went to Hodge's office for some reason. In any event, I tried to get him to 'fess up, at gunpoint...and a man by the name of McClane interfered. He's a police officer, apparently. I think he'd been affected by a Polymorph too, but I'm not sure.
Then the damn 'Morph tried to attack all three of us, and Hodge slipped away in the confusion. McClane was after the woman named Angela Einshell...sten...something like that, whatever her name is. Apparently everybody thinks they're accomplices.
And, so far, I've not heard peep one from Hodge about the matter. But I'm certain he's not well pleased with me.
Oh, smeg no. I'm never going back to that office again, so long as I exist. And now, on top of that, we've suddenly got a mass exodus for parts unknown. You're not leaving, are you?
No, I'm not leaving. Not unless I got ported out anyways. There would be no sense in taking off in the middle of a mess, so you don't have to worry about that.
Hodge has been quiet though, even on the network. You haven't heard anything about Starscream yet, have you?
All I know now is that, one, Hodge has totally locked me out of his computer systems, two, that he's got a bolt-hole in the back of his office that's got a heck of a lock on it, and three, he got really shirty with me when I called him "Cam."
Go ahead and shoot, I'm all ears.

You haven't heard a peep. Great. So I guess that also means you definitely haven't been back or have seen him?

The only problem is, I don't know if he meant it. He's lied to me before. But...I don't know.

Besides, it's not like they're not already gunning for me. The fact that you and I are on speaking terms isn't likely to make it worse.

But to keep on topic, did you learn anything at all when you confronted Cam? Anything new? What he's been up to?

And what the hell is wrong with calling him 'Cam' all of a sudden? I swear he's getting weirder and weirder.

She was scared because...well, I don't know how much Cannonball told you about...me. What happened to me last week.
