You know, it's funny. When the City gets a big donation, they really get on the ball pretty fast. And the construction company I work with got contacted to go look at the power grid.
Since I'm head field electrical engineer (being shock-proof certainly helps you climb the job ladder fast), I've taken a look at it.
And you know, despite being absolutely fried from that EMP the other day, it's... well, it's actually pretty up to date. Sure, that EMP would have knocked out just about anything, but not for as long as it was. Well, maybe not... there were some parts of the grid that were pretty shit.
Well whatever. We still got some of this money. We still get to replace parts of it... if my company gets picked. I don't think we will.
Just thought that was all a little weird.
I assume you've all seen the news about the elevator crashes today. Yeah, now that I KNOW for sure we're fixing. Weird, cause the power grid was more or less back in complete working order... [deleted]
Oh well. Enough about electrical job crap. I'm looking to possibly join a super hero team. Not full time, of course. But maybe. Give me your best pitches.
