Starscream's death was not over leadership issues. It was simply a scientific inquiry. Had I been trying to take command, things would have been much different.

That begs the question of why you are NOT taking command. It's no secret that it's something you've coveted. Or at least assumed logic dictated.

Assumed? Are you implying that I would allow myself to covet the role of commander based on an assumption?

I do not make assumptions on logic, Thundercracker.

I am not taking command, as there is no need for me to do so at this time. And I am not entirely sure that my processors have returned to 100% functionality.
