[The camera turns on, pointed at a close-up of some kind of wound. You may be able to hear Greg mutter to himself in the background, something absentminded like "Damnit, Jim, I'm not a coroner!", but he clears his throat almost over it and begins talking.]
We're looking at a cut in Optimus Prime's body. It's wire's edge thin and very precise. No traces of the weapon left behind in any of the wounds, meaning that a wire of some sort is a highly suspect weapon, though I wouldn't rule out some kind of extremely finely-aimed energy attack.
The cameras yield no sign of the murderer or any suspects, but were destroyed by an approaching party.
[Have some footage. Nothing of interest is visible until the cameras break and the visuals fuzz out, each time.]
A long distance weapon? Or again, some kind of energy manipulation? I don't have a test for the latter, so if someone else does, please let me know.
Finally, I checked the air filters in the ventilation systems for unusual chemicals. I came up with traces of the following:
[medium list, including toxin ingredients]
If anybody sees anything significant in there, again, please let me know. I don't recognize any combinations, but some of those chemicals should not be floating around the police station, and anyway, I come from a world without superheroes, so I figured I'd check with you guys.
[He tilts the camera towards him and waves a bit helplessly.]
Greg out.

EDIT @ 10:30 pm EST: Uh. Guys? Did you... move the body? While my back was turned? Because that's really that's really something. Turning around and a body not being there. I wasn't done, you know.
