No, I think it's all 90's. Reboot is just saturated with computer puns. doubleclicked April 25 2009, 01:22:10 UTC
What do you mean, super "stuff" ?

You already got it.

Seems t'me that when someone's talkin' in'a way even I can't get kosher with, then they're either from another world or just slow on the uptake.

Ya don't seem t'be the latter, so let's assume the former: fille, what in the world does all that you just said mean? In understandable terms, iffin'ya please.

Certainly, honey. I'll switch to basic just for you. Whatever you've got powering this City isn't producing enough energy for any sort of levitation fields, the way things are destroyed around here doesn't make any sense, and I haven't seen any little ones or zeros out on the streets.

Now, what's this about "another world?"

Still talkin' in tongues, fille, but I'll play along. Just this once.

You been "teleported" to some place that ain't where you used t'be: name's the City, and the man leading the charge into the unknown's called Iron Man. Ain't much to look at or do 'sides.

And if I tried asking about a Guardian 452, you'd ask for more "understandable terms?"

Thanks, sugar. You know where this 'MAC' is supposed to be?

I wouldn't say none of the cars can fly, I just haven't built one lately.

Sugar, they all fly where I'm from. You do hardware?

Huh, I'm sure the Department of Transportation is a mess there, right? Hardware, Software, I do a little bit of everything.

Nah, most folks use zip boards. They're just as fast and easier to keep. Everything, huh? We could of used someone like you.

Technology levels as well as the flora/fauna seem to vary greatly from world/to world. If you're looking for the person who set this communication system up, it's not likely to happen.

Are you having any problem with the user interface on the coms?

Computers are my specialty. It's the streets I'm having problems with.

I know a little about them, inside and out myself.

But yes... the city streets are dangerous particularly for someone new. I'd recommend asking around to see if someone can show you the place until you're more comfortable.

I'm more an inside girl.

Nah, just the finding things part of it. Most of the maps I'm pulling up are outdated.
