Hey guys, obviously I'm not at home. I... don't want to sit this one out. There's a lot of things at stake if things go down the way everyone's afraid of, and I don't want to see that happening.

So... yeah. I'm heading to the tower. I'm gonna see if maybe I can jump-start the security systems, or jury-rig some new ones, or something. I know, I ( Read more... )

If you think that I'm letting you go by yourself, you aren't as smart as they said on your manufacturer's specs.

We're coming with you.

Teamwork, right?

Just minus the battle cry and spandex.

Fill me in on what you know. I don't want to fly into this blind.

If we really need the spandex, I leave that in your capable hands.

What I know is this: The Armor Formerly Known as Iron Man may or may not be just that: armor. Sentient armor, Nico. Nobody's inside of that thing; it is Iron Man. He's flown the coop, and made it clear that anyone who wants to try messing with the Porter is welcome to it. He's not going to stop anyone. Also, he's offering a bounty for Tony Stark.

With that being in the public air, anyone with bad intentions is going to be gunning for the Porter, and not just for a shot at going home. Keeping them from getting their hands on it will keep things from getting worse here. Also, while I don't like the guy, I don't think having everyone hunting Stark down is a good move either. So, the more of us who help guard the Porter, the more other capes and cowls can keep their eyes on the City and, specifically, Stark.

How's that for a previous episode recap?

Okay.

We can deal with this. Intensely overpowered toaster? We can deal with this.

I'm ready for it.

You have a sense of humor and aren't chugging coolant.

We do need to work on your toast-fu, though.
