I know people have wondered this before, and I'm sure we won't ever get a real answer to it, but sometimes I think there is a greater purpose at work, bringing us here. I wouldn't say it's a pattern, but -- a journey, maybe. A lot of people come here from death, or from before... before they do things they can't take back, and it gives those people a second chance to make a difference. Small or not. Does that make sense? [ He takes a swig of his beer thoughtfully. ] A chance to escape worse fates waiting for us. Potentially. Even if there are always things you leave behind.
