Just look at them, Eddie. There's few things in this world more perfect than a flock of birds.

I know better than to argue with you, on this. [He glances sternly into the camera, before returning to his crossword puzzle.]

So I take it your business is flourishing?

[motherflocker]

It's practically flown off on it's own! All I have to do is make an appearance now and then, and things seem to just keep improving. [ and another bone for the lammergeier ]

I'm glad to hear it. [He really is, though he looks quite otherwise as he fills in an answer to his crossword. A thoughtful pause, and he shakes his head.]

And your young lady friend? Is she still around?

[motherflocker]

Oh no, no. She and I parted ways a few days ago.

[ a moment, he sobers somewhat. ] Problem, Eddie?

Sorry to hear it. [Absentmindedly spoken. He writes out another answer, scoffing immediately.]

How -- [Beat. He looks up.] Oh, ah, Ozzie. No, it's nothing really, it's just -- [Pause.] why would you have 'recidivism' intersect 'deputy' and 'falsehood'? It's just -- [Beat, because he realizes how silly this sounds.] It's just so rude.
