So, as I sit here wrapping a lot more Christmas presents than I thought I would have to, I was thinking about Christmas's before. When I was little I didn't celebrate for...well, just because. And then when I got a little older, after I met Charles, I did, but the presents tended to be...hit or miss.

Well, my good friend Mister Rogue purchases modified combat hands for me when they're available. It's always very nice! [slight faulter:] Ex...Except when they're a little, ah...out of date. [eheh...] In a pinch, it always helps to have the best, of course. So working a little under standard is risky!

[beat. musing:] Though this "Christmas" festival isn't a factor...I don't believe I've ever come across the term before arriving here before! It all seems very pleasant, however. We could all do with a bit of charity now and then, I think.

You don't have Christmas where you come from? It's sort of a constant here, really. Going back...well, I'm not sure. I mean, religiously it's two thousand years but I'm not sure about the modern holiday.

...Okay what are combat hands?

[he makes a thoughtful hmmh! just after hearing 'two thousand years, then takes a slight pause to get his train of thought back into gear at the question.]

Hm-? Oh! Well, when I still had my android body, I was able to swap out my standard model hands for designs much more suitable for combat! The features are as varied as most any other weaponry, some very specially designed depending on the planet you've purchased them from.

I've always been most fond of Zerardian models, myself...[a light chuckle in his voice.] But, then, that's the planet I was made on!
