[this is a video of a very frantic-looking nill standing outside the 'porter building. she is holding a rather strange case with what looks like a sword hilt sticking out of it, and everything about her looks more than a bit ruffled. she looks desperate, and near tears.]

[ She heads to the Porter building as fast as she can. She hasn't heard anything about Nill being ported out, so when did this happen? She is going to beat herself up if the young girl was sent back over a week ago.

Spotting Nill, her eyes glaze over the case and the hilt sticking out from it. ]

Nill?

[brevipennate]

[Nill turns to the familiar voice, looking less urgent than before, but just as ruffled. Her eyes are wide, and she's cradling the case in her arms like it's the most important thing int he world at that moment.]

[soldarius]

[ Slowing down to a cautious pace. ]

It's alright now. Are you okay?

[brevipennate]

[Just standing there. She nods, looking a little uncomfortable and shocked, still.]

[soldarius]

[ A concerned frown. She gestures to the case. ]

Did that come from home?

[brevipennate]

[Nill looks at the case for a moment, and then nods. She's still thinking about how much Naoto needs her katana, ignoring everything about how time basically stops when someone leaves their world.]

[soldarius]

[ Slowly holding out her hand. ]

Come on, let's get you inside somewhere.

[brevipennate]

[It takes her a second or two, but she does go to take Kate's hand. She hesitates after taking it, looking back at the porter building as if she could somehow magically go home if she just waited long enough.]

[soldarius]

[ She'll find Kate's hand feels rough, like she must do some sort of work with it, but her hold is as gentle as she can allow. ]

We'll go to my place at the MAC for a bit, alright?

[brevipennate]

[It reminds her vaguely of Naoto's hand--calloused from using her sword, but comforting. Nill nods, almost automatically. She thinks she'd like to get out of the open soon.]
