[As he's setting the camera up on something, Curtis looks a little uncertain. Once he gets it stable on the edge of the roof he's standing on, Curtis puts on his usual grin and steps back enough so that he can be seen.]
Hello, City! It's Freedom Ring. Glad to see the City wasn't wiped out by...y'know...big and ugly tentacle face. Sorry I couldn't stick around to help fight but all that cosmic horror was messing with my cosmic power. [He laughs. Sure it's not entirely true but he's not getting into that.]
Anyway, I noticed that the City is kinda messed up again. Battle damage and all that. So it looks like we might need to raise some money again. And I have an idea on how to do just that. But...[He smiles.] I'm going to need help. I know a few people are on board right now but we could use some more help. Who was it that set up that Date Auction? Think they might be interested in helping to set up another charity event? Or anyone else for that matter? Since I've got an idea to raise cash and for everyone to have some fun.
