[Sanji's looking pretty beat up, no coat, shirt shredded, blood on his face, but he's still standing. Only the cigarette in his mouth is remotely clean

[she doesn't look wounded, but she looks dead tired. She's flown back and forth between the City and the evacuation sites all week and boy are her arms tired] Eating... would be a good idea.
[considers Sanji's appearance] I'm bringing a first aid kit.
[approaches. If he needs light, she'll shine the flashlight where he needs it. Seeing some of his wounds, she adds in Big Sister(TM) mode] Let me take a look at you.
Sanji. [there's a hand on his shoulder. That slouchy laid back way she moves shifts to straight and about as authoritative as she can manage. Softly but firmly.] Stand up and let me look at you.
[noticing the wincing] Broken ribs. Any trouble breathing?
[puts the first aid kit on the table and takes out sterile gauze, then goes to the sink to get it soapy. May as well wash off the blood and grime to see what's going on there first] Hold still. [she's a bit clinical about it, but she has a gentle touch at least]
You should take it easy. If you have any trouble breathing or feel dizzy or anything, go to the clinic. [and she will pick you up and carry you there if she has to]
[a faint smile as she works] So how bad does the other guy look?
There's not a hell of a lot left of any of them. Miss Callie met up with me at some point, she...did pretty damn well. I did what I set out to do - I didn't let any of them get past me.
[and she knows that, which is why for now she's not pushing it any further]
Good for you. I was evacuating people, so I didn't see a lot of action. [we're up to anaesthetics and bandages now. No clue about any internal damage, but he at least won't get infected] Think it'll stay calm?
[only a little hiss at what that stuff does to cuts. owowowowowowowow...]
I'm glad you're safe, Miss Maggie. It was a real horror show down on the street, it wasn't pretty. I hope it really is over...I gathered that when everything went quiet and we were still here that the main problem had been taken care of.

...the hell time is it, anyway? It doesn't matter. I'm still cooking.

[so very practical] It's [ungodly] a.m. And you should at least clean the blood off, so it doesn't get in the food.

...I know. I plan to. I haven't bled on my cooking in ten years or so, I'm not going to start now.

[and in a bit, she is. And she has a first aid kit in one hand and a flashlight in the other. Finds her way to the kitchen] Sanji?
