I hope that everyone's holiday is as pleasant as it can be under these unfortunate circumstances. As I ventured out today to make a few donations the emptiness of the City became that much more apparent; it's depressing to witness, though all too understandable -- just so long as everyone is safe. It's not a good night to be out.

For whom? I doubt anyone will get to enjoy their trick-or-treating or parties this year, considering. Some people look forward all year to the night they can wear a mask.

Now there's a self-justifying belief if I ever heard one. So tell me, Norms, does it bother you, making such a show of being one of the little people you so love to make dance on their strings? Or is the sacrifice worth it to convince them that you're an us and I'm a them?
