They know who is in school at the institute, and who is not. They are aware who has guardians on file, and who does not. They were quite forthcoming with the information they could legally share with me. How can I make this more clear to you? They are already persons of interest. I could do an entire expose and they would not change the state's intentions toward them or that they are already subject to the state's attention.
Do I need to put it in semaphore, maybe? Skywriting? Perhaps interpretive dance?
I have not given the state anything they did not, in fact, already have.

If the kid were lucky, maybe CPS had gotten bored with trying to force him one way or the other. Now that you've aired their dirty laundry in public, how did you expect them to respond to this? Did you even think that far ahead?
