A guy can't even get away to the Jersey Shore without things going out of control.
[A small sigh; it could be weary, resigned, exasperated, or all three. He speaks as though reading from something.]
Closer to two dozen incidents have happened since arrival. Around a dozen have been caused by those brought here, mainly involuntary. Two by apparent "imPorts" only around for the duration of certain phenomena. Two drawing significant international attention. Two falling on or around holidays in the United States.
[Pause. The sound of a pen being tapped on a hard surface.]
And this is all just what's happened since I've been here, with no real pattern to any of it. Although reports indicate All Hallow's Eve seems to be a particularly eventful time, and premonitions are often to be believed here. As it is, no apparent rhyme or reason to what happens here; they're brought here, and the world adapts or rejects.
